Struktur Komunitas Makrozoobenthos di Kawasan Mangrove Desa Bagan Deli Kecamatan Medan Belawan

Abstract

Activities the continuous in mangrove areas Bagan Deli Village district of Medan Belawan resulted in a decline in water quality, causing changes in the ecological condition of the biota, especially macrozoobenthos. This research aims to determine the community structure of macrozoobenthos and water quality based on Abundance and Comparison (ABC) curve. This research was conducted in the mangrove area of the village of Bagan Deli Medan District Belawan from March until April 2016. The Sampling was done by purposive random sampling method at three stations. Macrozoobenthos and water sampling was caarried out for 1.5 months. Results of this research was found 13 species of macrozoobenthos namely Telescopium telescopium, Turritella terebra, Nassarius reeveanus, Cerithidea cingulata, Chicoreus capucinus, Nerita lineata, Cerithidea obtusa, Littoraria melanostoma, Cassidula aurisfelis, Natica Tigrina, Uca vocans and Uca rosea. Density was from 0 to 9 ind / m2. Diversity index was ranged from 1,79 to 2,09 and the level of diversity rated high. Uniformity index was ranged from 0,7 to 0,82 and dominance index was ranged from 0,15 to 0,2.
