| dc.description.abstract | The research purpose to examine condition and tourism potential
mangrove ecosystem area as foundation to develop mangrove ecosystem on Sei
Nagalawan coastal according to ecotourism perception and environmental
carrying capacity.
This research was carried out in August-September 2014. The research
method used purposive sampling for mangrove potential and arranged strategies
to develop mangrove ecosystem on Sei Nagalawan coastal area that suistanable
with SWOT analysis.
Mangrove species found as far as seashore on Sei Nagalawan beach were
Avicennia marina, A. officinalis, Bruguierra cylindrica, and Rhizophora
apiculata. Animals species found were birds, reptile, fish, mollusca and
crustaceae. Tourism similarity index for mangrove ecosystem activity on Sei
Nagalawan coastal area was 36 people/day. There are three priority strategies
alternative, firstly, to increase the bussiness management of mangrove ecosystem
ecoutorism activity. Secondly, to keep the tourism mangrove object by notice
carrying capacity area. Thirdly, to give promotion by internet or others medium to
draw ecoutorism interest to do tour in mangrove ecoutorism. | en_US |
