dc.description.abstractThe objective of the research are to know the effectivity of Frangipani leaf extract (Plumeira rubra) on the growth of bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila and to determine the minimum dose of Frangipani leaf extract that inhibit the growth of bacteria. The research has been conducted at Laboratory of Fish Quarantine, Quality Control and Fisheries Product Safety Level I, Medan I. The research used completely randomized experiment method with 6 treatment levels and 3 replications. Based on the research, the Frangipani leaf extract doses has highly significant effect on the growth of bacteria A .hydrophila, and the minimum doses that inhibit the bacteria is 2 % with clear zone diameter 6.4 mm.en_US
