dc.description.abstractAquaculture in Sicanang Village is very potential to develop and can support the farmer’s welfare, also able to improve the living standard of mangrove crab and seabass farmers. This research aim to analyze the financial value which the farming can get. The research was held for two months since March til April 2016 in West Sentosa Village Area 20 Sicanang Village Medan Belawan District. It used the survey method. Sampling method using slovin formula and purposive sampling. The result showed the average income of mangrove crab after three times harvest are Rp 93.110.000, meanwhile income for the seabass are Rp - 1.389.131. This is cause of some aspect that is the coast and seed existence, world condition, and the fish coast sell. Financially, mangrove crab farming is more profitable for further improvement than seabass farming which is had a various issues and considered less worthy to develop. This is proved on the B/C ratio result of mangrove crab is 2.46, meanwhile it’s only 0.93 for the seabass. Mangrove crab farminen_US
