dc.description.abstract | The mangrove forest ecosystem is a transitional area between sea and land, ithas
an extreme environment, which is influenced by tidal sea water, temperature and
salinity of which always change. Gastropoda is one of the
dominantphylummollusca classin mangrove forest that. Desa Lubuk Kertang’s
Mangrove Forest is on area that has experienced expert land functions into
tourist areas, agricultural land and settlements that change the mangrove
zonation. This research is looking to know the structure of gastropods community
and Gastropoda density at 3 mangrove zones; (Avicennia lanata, Rhizophora
apiculata and Sonneratia alba). The results showed that there were 15 species
Gastropods, is namely Achatinafulica, Cerithideaalata, Cerithideacingulata,
Cerithideaobtusa, Chicoreuscapucinus, Cymatium pileare, Ellobiumaurimisdae,
Ellobiumaurisjudae, Littorariamelanostoma, Littorariascabra, Murex tribulus,
Neritabalteata, Nerita planospira, Pugilina cochlidium, Stramonita gradata,
Telescopiumtelescopium and Terebraliasulcata. Diversity index ranged from
1,702 - 2,165 including medium category, Index ranged between 1,558 - 1,798
included in high category and dominance index ranged from 0,154 - 0,282
included in low category. The highest gastropoda density value was 31
individuals/m2 in the mangrove species Sonneratia alba, the highest density was in
the Littorariascabra species, the lowest densities were in the Terebraliasulcata
and Pugilinacochlidium species | en_US |
