Pengujian Diameter Pulley Silinder Pengupas dan Diameter Pulley Blower Terhadap Efesiensi Alat Pengupas Kulit Tanduk Kopi

Abstract

The aim of this research was to test the effect of pulley diameter of peeler cylinder and the blower pulley diameter on efficiency of the coffee’s husk peeler. This research used randomizad plan method completely design with two factors; that is the peeler cylinder pulley diameter and the blower pulley diameter. Results of this research showed that the peeler cylinder pulley diameter gave highy significant effect on the capacity, the percentage of damage bean produced, the percentage of bean entered skin reception and the percentage of skin entered the bean reception. the blower pulley diameter gave highy significant effect on the percentage of the bean entered the skin reception, and the percentage of skin entered the bean reception. The combination of peeler cylinder pulley diameter and blower pulley diameter gave highy significant effect on the percentage of the coffee bean entered the skin reception, and the percentage of skin entered the bean reception.
