dc.description.abstractThe height of fuel price and difficult progressively farmer got the fuel to move the water pumps, becoming one of factor resistor of agriculture product increase and can pursue the economics growth in an area. This research were done to get the amount of actual water pumps requirement and also forecasted requirement of fuel of 2 inch, 3 inch, 4 inch and 6 inch’s water pumps to watering the rice field. This research method used the trend line analysis model, by used primary data (farmer sample) and secondary data (relevant institution). From research result the sum of actual water pumps were obtained in the year 2007 was 233 unit and the sum of fuel required were 15.431,32 litre with the fuel cost was Rp 70.816.646,83. For forecasting of year 2008 obtained the water pumps amount were 288 unit and the sum of fuel required were 19571,66 litre. With the fuel cost was Rp 89.863.326,32 Forecasting method used be at the maximum elegibility value = 4 and minimum = - 4.en_US
