dc.description.abstractThe amount of organic waste, more than the inorganic waste. It is estimated, each person produces organic waste about half a kilogram per person per day. This will cause problems, especially environmental pollution. Process of the organic waste into compost has been done. Before composting, organic waste must be chopped first to accelerate the process of composting chopping conducted by machete / knife so that the results was not maximal and less capacity. To solved the problem, it is need a chopped implement household organic waste. For chopping process was moved by Electromotor. The aim of this research was to design and make the chopped implement household organic waste. The advantage obtained by used this chopped implement was the cheaper chopping cost, faster time and did not need the special expertiseen_US
