Abstract

Grated tool that is widely use community is shredded board where its use requires a relatively long time. Therefore necessary of grated mechanical. The aims of this research was to test Revolutions per Minute of grated mechanical. This research was conducted in November 2010 use the complete randomized design with 2 factors: i.e. Revolutions per Minute (650, 750, and 850) and commodities (cassava, coconut, and ginger). Parameter observed the effective capacity of device, the percentage of material that are not destroy, economy analysis, break event point and net present value. The result showed that Revolutions per Minute had highly significantly affected the capacity of material , the capacity of result, and had no significantly on percentage material that are not destroy. The kind of had highly significantly affected the capacity of material, the capacity of result, and had no significantly on percentage material that are not destroy. The interaction of treatment had highly significantly affected capacity of material, the capacity of result, and had no significantly on percentage material that are not destroy.
