dc.description.abstract | Palm oil mill solid waste originating from the rest of CPO production
process that is channeled into the pond waste (Cooling Fond I) which are usually
thrown into the ground so that it can contaminate the environment because it still
contains waste oil. This study aims to utilize oil palm waste as briquettes.
Briquettes is one of the alternative fuel fuel oil (BBM). Testing is done by
completely randomized factorial design 2 factors: fineness of the material (20, 30,
and 40 mesh) and the concentration of adhesive (20, 30, and 40%). Parameters
are observed calorific value, the heating, oil volume, and kejelagaan.
The results showed that the fineness of the material provides a significant
influence on the heating value, the heating, kejelagaan and distinct influence on
the volume of oil is not real. Concentration of adhesive gives a very real influence
on the heating value, the heating and distinct influence on the volume of oil is not
real and kejelagaan. Treatment interaction effect is very real to the calorific
value, the heating and provide different effects are not obvious to the volume of
oil and kejelagaan. | en_US |
