Uji Unjuk Kerja Traktor Yanmar Tipe TF 85 pada Lahan Basah dan Lahan Kering di Desa Dolok Hataran, Kabupaten Simalungun

Abstract

TOMAN H D L. TOBING: Performance of Yanmar TF 85 Tractor on Wet land and Dry land at Desa Dolok Hataran Kabupaten Simalungun. Under the supervision of TAUFIK RIZALDI and AINUN ROHANAH. The performance test of tractor is its ability to prepare land using implements to know the work capacity, efficiency, work velocity, and wheel skid. The objective of this research is to know the capacity of Yanmar TF 85 tractor on wet land and dry land at Desa Dolok Hataran Kabupaten Simalungun. This research used factorial randomized block design with two factors, i.e. implement (moldboard plow, pulverizer, and harrow) and velocity (1 m/s, 1,2 m/s, and 1,4 m/s). Parameters measured were capacity, fuel consumption and tractor efficiency. The result showed that velocity affected significantly the capacity, fuel consumption, and tractor efficiency when used the implements. The highest capacity at wet land was found in the combination of 1,4 m/s velocity and harrow implement. At dry land the highest capacity was found in the combination of 1,4 m/s velocity and pulverizer implement.
