Kajian Morfometri Danau Pondok Lapan Desa Naman Jahe Kecamatan Salapian Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Pondok Lapan Lake is an artificial lake located in Langkat. In the map, this lake is located on the axis of coordinates precisely 3°30′44.73" N - 3°30'26,29" N dan 98°. 17′ . 65" E - 98°17'29.60"E. The purpose of this study was to determine the morphometric aspects Pondok Lapan Lake and determine the capacity of water utilized by society. The research was conducted from January to March 2015. Data collection is performed in this research is data depth, water flow, and around the lake are processed using ArcView. From the results, the lake morphometric aspects of wide Pondok Lapan Lake is around 63472.78 m², the maximum length of 548.28 m, 220.23 m maximum width, circumference 2200.83 m, maximum depth of 4:15 m, with a sloping bottom waters and shape of the lake bottom surface is irregular. And the capacity of the Pondok Lapan Lake which can be used by the public is 104679.59 m³ of water volume, water flow around 12963,456 m³/day-14111,712 m³/day, Recidance time of water about 8 days, the brightness of the water approximately 0.965 m – 1.056 m with a depth of approximately 2.612, compensation m-2.858 m
