Uji Variasi Bentuk Mata Pisau Pada Alat Pengupas Sabut Kelapa Mekanis

Abstract

AGUS ROY BUTAR BUTAR: Test of The Varian of The Knife Edge Shape on Mechanical Coconut Peeler, supervised by SAIPUL BAHRI DAULAY and LUKMAN ADLIN HARAHAP. This research was done to test the varian of the knife edge shape on the effective capacity of the equipment, percentage of material unpeeler, and fuel requirements on mechanical coconut peeler. This research was using completely randomized design non factorial. It was found that the effective capacity of the equipment, percentage of material unpeeler, and fuel requirements completely, on triangle knife edge were 231.24 unit/hour, 6,67%, and 2.37 litre/hour respectively, on cone knife edge were 301.97 unit/hour, 13.33%, and 2.62 litre/hour respectively, on nail knife edge were 192.48 unit/hour, 13.33% and 1.85 litre/hour respectively. The result showed that the varian of the knife edge had significan effect on the effective capacity and had no effect on the percentage of material unpeeler and had significan effect on fuel requirements completely.
