This paper describes the meaning of color and the function of accessories in Nias traditional clothing. The results of this study indicate that there are three colors found in Nias traditional clothing, namely yellow, red and black and have accessories which are divided into two types, namely accessories used for men and accessories used for women. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out what the meaning of color and the function of accessories in Nias traditional clothing is. The method used by the author is a qualitative descriptive method in working on this paper, by collecting data, reading books, conducting data searches on the internet and also conducting interviews with several Nias people. The results of this study indicate that each color in Nias traditional clothing has its own meaning and the function of each accessory is related to the traditions of the Nias people in the past.
