    Abstract
Goldfish is fish consumption of water bargaining is not in spite of risk of disease caused by bacteria. This study was aimed to determine antimicrobial potential of stem bark extract of R. mucronata against bacterial pathogens E. tarda to determine the extract toxicity to gold fish germ (Cyprinus carpio.L), and to determine the soaking effect of stem bark extract of R. mucronata extract toward the survival rate of gold fish germ infected by E. tarda. Extraction was done by a single maceration using methanol, ethyl acetate and n-hexane. The toxicity test of stem bark extract of R. mucronata extract with concentrations 25 ppm, 30 ppm, 50 ppm, dan 75 ppm, the mortality fish in each of the concentration is 0%, 46,67%, 100%, 100% and found the test LC50 of 39,30 ppm consentrate. Extract used to test the challenge is extract stem bark R. mucronata with solvent metanol. Gold fish used were 200 fish, around 5-7 cm in size and were injected by E. tarda with density of 107 CFU / mL in intraperitoneal. Stem bark extract of R. mucronata has ability toward antibacterial in 3,93 ppm contentrate that result showed that survival rate of gold fish germ were 100%. The soaking of stem bark extract showed a significant effect (P<0.05) toward survival rate of gold fish infected by E. tarda. E. tarda bacteria tested with biochemistry test and counting the bacterial colony performed by the method of TPC (Total Plate Count). In the aftermath of submersion, the colonies bacteria declined from an average of 2,18 x 103 cfu/ml become 1,32 x 103 cfu/ml.
