Abstract

AHMAD YANI: The test of pulley diameter on pulp maker machine supervised by SAIPUL BAHRI DAULAY and AINUN ROHANAH. One of process to find the machine velocity in processing of paper to become pulp is by testing its pulley diameter. This study was aimed to determine the effect of pulley diameter of pulp maker machine. The parameters measured were the effective capacity of machine, yield, and the percentage of loose material. This research was conducted from June to August 2016 at Agricultural Engineering Laboratory Agricultural Faculty University of Sumatera Utara,Medan. Non factorial randomized block design was used in this research. The results showed that pulley diameter affect the observed parameters.
