dc.description.abstract | Catfish is a special fish. Because in addition to being classified as a luxury food fish, catfish also used as ornamental fish. As a fish food, catfish has several features. Privileges that it's unique, low calorie content is about 120 calorie each 3.5 ounce, the structure of the meat is chewy and easily separated with thorns. Catfish so that meat can be processed in various forms of recipes. The purpose of this study was to determine the best effect of adding probiotics on growth and feed conversion catfish. This study uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments: P0 (without addition), P1 (probiotic addition 1 g/kg), P2 (probiotic addition 2 g/kg), P3 (probiotic addition 3 g/kg). The treatment P1 provides a significant influence on weight gain, but no significant effect on the length catfish. The treatment P1 is the optimum dose for the growth catfish with growth 8:54 cm long and weight 7:56 g growth with feed conversion ratio 0.82. | en_US |
