EVI TRI ULINA BR GINTING: Optimum Method for Increasing Rice
Seed Seeder performance on Dapog System, supervised by TAUFIK RIZALDI
and RISWANTI SIGALINGGING.
Various technologies have been developed to increase production,
superior varieties of rice and also technology of rice cultivation. The optimum
method in the dapog rice seed seeding equipment is a way to improve its work
that have the function of rice seeds seeding that grow into superior rice seedlings
using tray/box applications. The objective of this research was to optimize
rotation speed and growth media planting mechanism. This research used method
of optimizing the rotation speed of rationing, plant growth mediumening
mechanism, and modification of tray/box on seed sowing. The parameters
observed were the effective capacity of the equipment, the need for electrical
power and the percentage of growth power.
The results showed that the average effective capacity after modification
of the dapog seed rice seeding was 288 boxes/hour. Requirement of electric power
was 209.3 watts. The average number of intact seeds was 935 grains, the average
of damaged seeds was 50 grains and the average seed loss was 15 grains.
Percentage of damaged seeds was 6.5% and number of seeds growth was 91%
and 2.5% of other factors.
