dc.description.abstractThe increasing need for energy sources causes an energy crisis. The problem of energy crisis can be solved by looking for alternative energy. Plastic waste used by the community causes an environmental issue that has become the focus of attention. Therefore, further processing is needed to minimize the plastic waste issue. The processing of plastic waste together with rice husk and palm oil shell waste will produce high energy with gasification technology. In the gasification process, the air is needed to help the combustion process of biomass where the air entering the reactor can be adjusted so that the air flow rate can accelerate the combustion process. The particle size of the biomass also affects the syngas produced. This study aims to obtain the best biomass particle size and air flow rate on the performance of the plastic waste pyrolysis integration tool with downdraft type biomass gasification. The research method uses a literature study and a two-factorial Completely Randomized Design method consisting of 9 treatments. The results showed that the oil yield value was 51.542%, the FCR (Fuel Consumption Rate) value was 1.663 kg/hour, the percentage value of biomass residue was 35.81%, the percentage value of plastic residue was 43.33%, the SGR (Specific Gasification Rate) value of 48.16 kg hour/ m2, and the flame from the syngas can last for 296 seconds.en_US
