dc.description.abstractThe tertiary irrigation channel in the Bandar Sidoras Irrigation Area is partly a soil channel and a concrete channel. The efficiency of water distribution will be influenced by the speed of water flow and channel conditions, where both of these factors can be manifested through the roughness value or the channel constant value. This study aims to determine the value of Manning's roughness in 6 vegetated tertiary channel. In the three concrete channels, the Manning’s values are 0.23; 0.21; 0.2 and for the soil channel for conditions before the vegetation was trimmed, the Manning’s values were obtained respectively 0.71; 0.5 and 0.4. Meanwhile, in the three channels for conditions after trimming the vegetation, the Manning’s values were 0.55; 0.4 and 0.3.en_US
