The study has been conducted on the effects of weather on the analysis simulation
model of wind energy changes on the Nias island during the years 2009 to 2013. This
study aims to determine the shape and size of the value of the parameters of the weather
and its impact on the wind energy. This analysis is done in two stages. The first stage is
done by analyzing the first few weather parameter ie wind speed, temperature and air
pressure using the weibull distribution. The purpose of this weibull analysis is to get the
amount of wind energy and to see how the shape and magnitude of the value of weather
parameters. The second phase followed by simulating wind speed, temperature and air
pressure into linear regression to see the effect of these parameters on the wind energy.
The results of the analysis of data using the Weibull distribution for 2009-2010 states
that the shape and scale parameters to obtain wind speed of 6.06 and 2.27 m I s, the
shape and scale parameters for the temperature of 11.31 and 27.25 C, shape parameter
and scale to the air pressure at 1546.69 and 1009.77 (mm / bar). Simulation with
multiple linear regression equation yields the equation; E: - 7l + 15,5 V 0263 T +
0,056 P. ideal energy obtained on the island is 13.57 Watt with errata 4%. These results
suggest that the development of wind power to the island of Nias still not able to meet
the increase in the supply of electrical energy PLTGB Nias with a capacity of 8 MW in
2014 and the power plant with a capacity of 2l MW Nias in 2014-2015'
