dc.description.abstractMilling is influenced by the rate of material input, rotational speed, available power, seed moisture content and the type of material used. To overcome the weaknesses and shortcomings of grinding peanuts, a burr mill type peanut grinder is made. The purpose of this study was to obtain the best rotational speed of the tool to produce peanut grinders with the best quantity and quality using a peanut grinder tipr burr mill. This study used a non-factorial completely randomized design. The rotational speed of the tool used is 8300 rpm (P1), 8500 rpm (P2) and 8700 rpm (P3). The parameters tested are the effective capacity of the tool, yield and electricity consumption. In this study, the best rotation of the tool was at 8700 rpm. The results showed that the highest effective capacity of the tool (81.46kg/hour) was at 8700 rpm (P3), the highest yield (93.33%) was at 8700 rpm (P3). and The highest electric power consumption (916.33 Watt) is found at 8300 rpm (P1).en_US
