The Description Of The Main Character’s Conflicts In The Movie Death Wish

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the conflicts that occur in the main characters depicted in the movie. The method used by the author in this study is qualitative description to obtain certain data by searching and collecting several reviews from the internet related to the description of conflicts in literary works. Then, the writer watched the film repeatedly and quoted the sentences or expressions that show the characters, then describes them. In this movie, Paul Kersey is considered as the main character because they dominate the whole story. The description of this paper described the description of the main character, namely Paul Kersey as a doctor who wants to take revenge against the criminal who caused his wife to die and his son to fall into a coma.
