dc.description.abstract | The implementation of OSH programs has not been carried out properly at PT. Sinar Sosro is due to several inhibiting factors, namely the quality of human resources, the commitment of the company and workers, supervision of the OSH program, and budgeting of funds in facilitating OSH facilities, therefore the importance of analyzing inhibiting factors the implementation of OSH program to protect workers from accidents. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that hinder the implementation of OSH programs at PT. Sinar Sosro. This type of research is qualitative research. The research informants amounted to 3 people, namely the Personnel and General Affairs (PGA) Supervisor as the key informant, PGA staff as the main informant, and production staff as the supporting informant using purposive sampling technique. The results showed obstacles to the quality of human resources at PT. Sinar Sosro is an emplyoee did not always wear ear plug. There are no obstacles to the commitment of the company and workers because the company has cooperated with 2 nearby clinics, the company continues to fulfill PPE and invites the police to provide information about driving safety. There are no obstacles related to supervision at PT. Sinar Sosro because supervision is carried out by the North Sumatra Provincial Manpower Office once every 6 months. Budgeting in facilitating OSH facilities at PT. Sinar Sosro is not in accordance with the budgeted funds so the needs of the OSH program must be adjusted to the existing funds. The suggestions given are expected for the company to be able to recruit OSH experts so that the program can run well and can minimize if there are obstacles and for employees to comply with standard operating procedures that have been set by the company for personal safety while working. | en_US |
