THE Description of Main Characters in The Movie Resident Evil

Abstract

Every literary work has a purpose and meaning to be conveyed to its readers and can represent human life today. The paper is carried out through an intrinsic approach and an extrinsic approach, where the intrinsic approach uses characterization, plot, and setting and through an extrinsic approach using a psychosomatic psychological approach, revenge, and death instincts. The type of research used is a literature study with the movie Resident Evil: Vendetta by Joe McLean as the main source and supported by several literatures related to the appropriate definition or theory, collecting data from books, articles, or from the internet. Therefore, the author is obliged to read text books related to research, and look for some further information through articles or websites to add the necessary information to the research data. This research is expected to be useful because it is carried out through a new perspective by applying the concept of character which is included in the field of psychoanalytic literature which is presented as something new and open to further research.
