Abstract

Film is one of the products of mass media that is in great demand by many people so that it makes films have their own place for many people. Films also function as a place to convey moral messages, one of which is the background of the movie One Day We’ll Talk About Today, a film that is certainly very interesting to discuss because there is a moral message in it. This film tells the story of the relationship between a father, mother and three children in a family, the eldest, the middle and the youngest. Awan attitude change under pressure from their parents. This prompts the rebellion of the three sibling which causes the revelation of secrets and great trauma in their family. The purpose of this discussion is to know and understand: What are the types of Moral values in movie and the dominant Moral value in the movie. The method used in this discussion was descriptive qualitative research by collecting from books, internet, and watch and understanding the movie many time. The source data for this paper is the dialog in the movie, and then the writer gather the moral values in the dialog movie, From the moral values that found from Movie One Day We’ll Talk About Today it can be used as a reference to learn about moral values.
