Tua Parulian Sianipar, 2009. “ The utilization of Oil Palm frond and Industritial Waste in Feed on Growth of Weaning Ongole in Phase of Growth’. Under advices of Prof. Dr. Ir Hasnudi, MS. as supervisor, Ir. Nurzainah Ginting, MSc. as co supervisor and Dr. Ir. Donald Siahaan as field advisor. The research has been conducted in plantation of Aek Pancur Blok 96 Tanjung Morawa, for 120 days. The research lasted from August to December 2008. This research was conducted in basis on human requirement for protein that was increasing progresively and the ever-declining supply of weaning feed. The objective of the research would be to know the application level of oil palm stem in plantation waste based feed on ration consumption, feed conversion ratio (FCR) and average daily gain (ADG) weaning ongole in growth phase during this reaseach. This research was conducted by using latin squre design (LSD) consisting of four treatments. The treatments were P1 = feedstuf of 40% oil palm frond, P2 = feedstuf of 45% oil palm frond, P3 = feedstuf of 50% oil palm frond, P4 = feedstuf of 55% oil palm frond. The result of this research indicated that the highest average consumption of ration was found in treatment P2 is 6728 gr/head/day and the lowest one was in treatment P3 is 6389 gr/head/day. The highest average increment of body weight was found in treatment P1 is 829 gr/head/day, and the lowest one was in treatment P4 is 607 gr/head/day. The highest average feed conversion ratio (FCR) was found in treatment P4 is 11,817 the lowest one was in treatment P1 is 8,031. The result of ration test indicated tht administration of four substances has the same on ration consumption, average daily gain (ADG), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) weaning ongole.en_US
