dc.description.abstractERICKSON PURBA: Economic Value and Distribution Aren (Arenga pinnata). (Case Study Suka Maju village, Bukum village ,district Sibolangit and Deli Serdang Regency). Guided by Oding AFFANDI and LILIEK P. Asmono. Aren (Arenga pinnata) is a forest plant that has many benefits but can not be used optimally by the forest dwellers. This study aimed to determine the distribution of palm and palm economic value. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. Based on research by the distribution of palm is known and dominant groups grow altitude of 600-800 meters above sea level, while the highest economic value of palm sugar used is red and the lowest economic value is wine.en_US
