Bamboo is a plant that has a very important benefit for life. Bamboo which
we know has good properties to be used, among other things: strong stem,
straight, flat, hard, easy to cut, easy to set up and easy to work and easy to
transport. Besides bamboo is also relatively cheap compared to other building
materials as are found in the surrounding rural settlements. This study aims to
determine the results of processed bamboo products of society, the kinds that
grow, the technology used and the problems that exist in the use of bamboo in the
Tiga Panah village Karo Regency. The types of bamboo that dominates in the
Tiga Panah village is a type of bamboo regen or a local language Buluh Regen
(Gigantochola pruriens). Data collection was done using field observations,
questionnaires, interviews, library research and data analysis. The data collected
is analyzed qualitatively to explain that according to the results on the field. In
general, the management of bamboo plants in this area is low and the need for
integrated management of production potential and can not be treated optimally. | en_US |
