N PRABUDI: Decomposition Rate of Rhizophora Stylosa apiculate Leaf Litter in Various Salinity Level. Guided by YUNASFI and NELLY ANNA. Litter has an important role for the forest soil fertility. Microorganisms are starting decomposition help speed up the decompositioning process. Litter decomposition also releases nutrients needed by plants in coastal areas. This study aimed to determine the effect of salinity on the rate of leaf litter decomposition R. stylosa and determine the availability of nutrient content of carbon (C), nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) contained in the leaf litter R. stylosa which decompose at different levels of salinity. The research was carried out for 90 days and samples were taken 15 days. The results showed that the leaf litter R. stylosa at salinity levels> 20-30 ppt decomposed faster than other salinity levels. The rate of leaf litter decomposition R. Stylosa were highest at 20-30 ppt salinity level is 0.263 and the lowest at the level of salinity> 30ppt is 0.141. Nutrient content of leaf litter C R. Keywords: Rhizophora stylosa, the rate of decomposition, mangrove, salinity, litter, nutrient. stylosa is highest at 0-10 ppt salinity level of 14.91% and a low of 8.03% on the dick, nutrients in leaf litter N R. stylosa in control of 3.5% and the lowest salinity> 30 ppt of 2.1% and leaf litter nutrient P R. stylosa is highest at a salinity> 30 ppt which is 0.015% and the lowest 0-10 ppt at 0.013%en_US
