This study, entitled "Effects of Brand Equity Against Sari Roti Customer
Satisfaction in the Village Titi Rantai, District of Medan Baru, Medan". This
study aims to determine the effect of brand equity consists of brand awareness,
perceived quality, brand association, brand loyalty Sari Roti products to customer
satisfaction in the Village Titi Rantai, District of Medan Baru, Medan. The theory
used in this study is related to the theory of brand equity and customer
satisfaction.
The samples in this study were 98 people who were taken by Slovin
formula for the number of known populations, ie the characteristics of the
population aged between 15-65 years, people who lived in the village Titi Rantai
District of Medan Baru, Medan, ever buy and consume minimal Sari Roti 2 times.
In this study, the sampling method using a stratified random sampling, purposive
sampling, and accidental sampling. Data collection techniques used were
fieldwork consisting of questionnaires and interviews and literature study. The
data analysis technique used is the test instrument (validity and reliability), a
single data analysis, and methods of data analysis which consists of test the
classical assumption of normality test and multicollinearity test, test multiple
linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing consisting of a t-test F, and test the
coefficient of determination (R2). The execution of data analysis using SPSS 16.0
for windows.
From the research that simultaneously brand equity consists of brand
awareness, perceived quality, brand association, brand loyalty effect on customer
satisfaction, and the most dominant partially is variable perceived quality and
brand loyalty are positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction in the
Village Titi Rantai, District of Medan Baru, Medan.
