| dc.description.abstract | Currently unemployment has reached a very high and continues to be a
major problem faced by the government. Every year college graduates and an
equal amount to millions. But the difficulty of getting a permanent job is
inevitable. Currently the development of UMKM (Micro, Small and Medium
Enterprises) has been very popular among the people. UMKM are considered as
the right choice for every person who is difficult to get a job through UMKM have
many emerging new entrepreneurs who are ready to face the competitive world of
business is getting tougher. UMKM one long and still active in business is located
in Melati Chatering Amaliun Medan road. Melati effort is Chatering select cake
business. Entrepreneurial Melati Chatering certainly have certain behaviors in
the attempt is interesting enough to be studied.
The purpose of this study was : ( 1 ) to describe the characteristics of the
individual and entrepreneurial attitude Chatering Bed ( 2) analyze the
entrepreneurial attitude cake Melati Chatering ( 3) to analyze the relationship
between the characteristics of the entrepreneurial attitude Melati Chatering cake .
In this study, the method used is descriptive method with qualitative data .
Informants in this study were divided into three , namely the key informant Melati
Chatering owner , the key informants Melati Chatering son of the owner and
informant added that casual employees amounted to 2 Melati Chatering .
The results showed that the characteristics of entrepreneurial cake
Chatering Melati consists of educational level, personal values, age, and work
experience have any effect in managing the business. Melati Chatering

and mission, goals, self-confident, independent, active energetic and appreciate
