Greening Planning In Tebing Tinggi City. Supervised by ANITA ZAITUNAH
and DENI ELFIATI
Urban areas known as hot atmosphere accompanied by air pollution, water
and soil. Population growth is very large and is followed by the establishment of
industrial zones and residential space resulting in a lack of vegetation. The
purpose of this study was to identify areas that have the potential to be developed
into greening areas using geographic information systems and applications using
SPOT 5 satellite imagery.
The greening of vacant land is planned with the form of the greening of
settlements with total area of 5,64 hectares. Greening planning on the green line is
done with the form of greening the green line with a total length of 169,52 km
with a suitable plant species are plant trees (Pterocarous indicus, Pithecelobium
dulce, Polyalthia longifolia pendula, Cassiana siamea, Mimusops elengi and
Swetenia mahagoni) and shrubs (Ixora javanica, Codiaeum variegiatum,
Bougenville glabra, andAchalypha wilkesiana). The greening planning is done by
planting riparian vegetation in the river bank with a total length of 17,27 km to the
vegetation on bamboo plants. | en_US |
