Abstract

This research is motivated by the parties multiple interpretations and understanding of an agreement. It is because not all words, terms, and sentences in the agreement that indicate a legal rule legal relationship, or legal event are clear and easy to understand. This research concerns about how the legal aspects of the Cooperation Agreement on the Operational Development Program (ODP) between PT Tabungan Negara, Tbk und Universitas Negeri Medan are, how to interpret the clauses in the Cooperation Agreement on the ODP between PT Tubungan Negara, Thk und Universitas Negeri Medan, und him to resolve differences in legal interpretation of clanses in the Cooperation Agreement on the ODP between PT Bank Tahungan Negara. Thk and Universitas Negeri Medan

Descriptive juridical normative method which describes an overview of an object by using data or samples and draws conclusions applicable to public is employed. This research uses primary and secondary data sources and analyzes the phenomenon abtained from verbal description and information stated by informants in writing form or orally using qualitative method

The findings describe that the cooperation agreement on the ODP prepared in accordance with the Principle of Freedom to Make Agreements stipulated in Arucie 1338 of Indonesian Civil Code. The agreement is classified into an anonymous agreement under contract law and made by compiving with Article 1320 of Indonesian Civil Code on the legal terms for agreements If there ure multiple interpretations, it is then referred to constitutions as regulated in Article 12 of the cooperation agreement on the ODP hetween PT BTY and UNIMED In addition, the settlement can be reached through deliberation and consensus, or through a process at Medan District Court
