Iklan Rokok Televisi Terhadap Perubahan Sikap Mahasiswa (Studi Korelasional Terpaan Iklan Rokok di Televisi Terhadap Perubahan Sikap pada Mahasiswa FISIP USU Angkatan 2015)
Abstract
The purpose of this study to find out how much the relationship
between cigarette adverstising to change student attitudes FISIP USU Force 2015. This
study uses Correlational Studies, where to find relationship between the two variables
and test the strength or weakneess of these two variables. Theories that are considered
relevant to this study is the Theory of Communication, Mass Communication Theory,
Television, Advertising, AIDDA Theory, and Theory of Attitude Change.
Support tools of this research is the questionnaire.. total population of the study was 995
person. Sampling was conducted using Taro Yamane formula with a respondents. The
sampling technique is done by purposive sampling and sample chosen will be interesd
into Stratified Prportional Random Sampling. The data sampling technique literature
study and field research. The data analysis technique Single Table Analysis, Cross Table
Aanalysis Testing Hypotheses by using SPP version 13.0.
From the research that there is a significant relationship between cigarette advertising
on television to change attitudes FISIP USU Force 2015. The majority respondents said
the quality of the video on television advetising of cigarettes either. But the cahnge in
attitude FISIP USU Student Force 2015 to become smokers after watching a television
advertising of tobacco was not so devastating. Behind the tlevision ads impressions were
good interesting, FISIP USU Student Force 2015 still have self-awareness that cigarette
consumption danger to their helath.
