Strategi Persaingan Bisnis Jasa Konstruksi Kapal (Studi Kasus Tentang Penerapan Strategi Bisnis Perusahaan Konstruksi Kapal CV. Marine Construction Belawan)

Abstract

Vessel construction services business is a service business that is promising if the business location support. Business services ship construction is still dominated in the area such as Belawan sea. In conducting its business activities or business often followed by intense competition from competitors. Competition is also experienced by CV. Marine Construction Belawan business that competes with similar services, namely, ship construction services. The company has applied for a competitive strategy to remain competitive with its competitors. To remain competitive strategy is needed to run a SWOT analysis using the SWOT analyze where in, will be the stage grouping of internal and external factors of business services, then look from Cartesian diagrams, and SWOT Matrix. After that, it can be seen that competition strategy has been implemented by the company. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data were obtained from observation, interviews, library research and study documentation. Technical analysis of the data using SWOT analysis. The informants numbered 2, namely 1 and 2 deputy directors of directors. The results show that the strategy has been applied to CV. Marine Construction of Belawan is a diversification strategy that utilizes a strategy that uses the power to avoid the threat.
