dc.description.abstract | Style is an individual prestige, which is built through education , insight , taste
that becomes accustomed to undergo the procedure in daily life . For the people of
the city ( urbanism ) a fashion lifestyle is very important because it concerns the
image of a person. Fashion are strongly linked with aging, so businesses need to
know the target market segment . Akar Bumi Distro are in the age segment of 12
to 25 years . In this segment the product is very tied to the trend factor , which is
certainly a model or design followed by a high price . The maximum service
strategy is expected to offset the high prices to create buying interest for visitors
and customers . This study aims to determine how the service affects the role of
buying interest . The population of this study is the visitors and shoppers during
June, July, August 2013, as many as 1987 people , and the sample was determined
by Slovin formula, it is obtained as many as 96 respondents with nonprobability
sampling technique with accidental sampling method or by chance to the visitors
and shoppers during the month of October 2013 . Statistical analysis of the data
using a simple linear regression with SPSS 18.00.The results of the analysis states
that the role of services closely linked with buying interest, so that if the role of
services increased or 100 % of the time it will be followed by buying interest at
0.183. 38.7 % more is influenced by other factors or variables that do not come
under study. Employers or management of Akar Bumi Distro, Should
continuously improving quality of care , providing services such as providing a
passive comfortable fitting room also do interior and exterior decorating in
