Natural Tourism Object of Waterfall of Teroh-Teroh Desa Rumah Galuh Subdistrict
of Sei Bingai, Regency of Langkat, North Sumatera.

Indonesia is one of archipelago with good and famous natural resources either in
land or in water. One of advantages of development of natural resources specially
the forest resources is intangible advantages such as fresh air and beautiful
natural view for natural tourism activity.
This research aims to (1) to analyze the potency of waterfall tourism object of
teroh-Teroh in Desa Rumah Galuh, sub-district of Sei Bingai, Regency of
Langkat, North Sumatera, (2) to analyze the strategy of development of of water
fall tourism object of Teroh-teroh in Desa Rumah Galuh, sub-district of Sei
Bingai, Regency of Langkat, North Sumatera. The sample was took by purposive
sampling for visitor as respondent and random sampling for the society. The
object and the interest thing are analyzed based on scoring criteria on the
Guidance of Analysis of Object operation Area and Interest of natural tourism of
Dirgen PHKA in 2003 based on the determined score for each criteria.
The potency of waterfall tourism object of Teroh-Teroh is flora and fauna,
beautiful natural view, waterfall, river, water spring, and forest. In addition the
location of the tourism object is a place of research such as flora and fauna for
the student. Waterfall of teroh-teroh has natural tourism potency that can be
developed based on the feasibility percentage 67.15%. In the SWOT analysis, on
quadran I indicates that the area of this tourism object is situated on the
