| dc.description.abstract | HERY HALOMOAN SINURAT : Study of Soil Erosion on Community Forest, Agroforestry, and Annual Land in Bingkawan Village, Sibolangit Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency, supervised by DENI ELFIATI. Steep conditions in study area, cause soil erosion easily occurs. Therefore a research had been conducted at Bingkawan Village, Sibolangit Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency and at the Agrobiology Laboratory of College of Agriculture USU in April - December 2010 using Chin-ong meter method. Parameters measured were rainfall, runoff, soil erosion, soil texture, and soil organic matter content. The results showed that community forest able to press the rate of runoff and soil erosion than agroforestry and annual land. Further research is needed to examine other parameters of the causes of soil erosion. | en_US |
