Uji Adaptasi Beberapa Varietas Bawang Merah (Allium ascalonicum) pada Musim Hujan

Abstract

Brian Arista Meliala: The objective of the research was to know the adaptation about some variety of shallot that was plated when rainy season. The research was done in high school of Penyuluhan Pertanian, Medan from July to September 2010. The research was using the Randomized Block Design. However, variety was taken in five levels namely: variety of Bima (V1), variety of Katumi (V2), variety of Kuning (V3), variety of Maja (V4) and variety of Sembrani (V5). The research was using system of plating with two row for variety (double row system). The result of the research showed that the variety was significant on the total of saplings/clump, tuber diameter, tuber height, decrease of tuber weight, but non significant on plant height, the total of leaves, dry weight/plant sample, wet weight/plant sample and production
