Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU Distribusi Wilayah III Sumbagut

Abstract

Organization culture is closely related to employee performance improvement in a company. Organization culture to be one of the driving factors that differentiate the performance of a company, in terms of culture and environment. In this research, organization culture is defined as the code of conduct for all employees within a company. The better culture of the organization, it means that the better employee performance improvement. This study was conducted to determine the influence of organization culture on employee performance in PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU Distribution Region III Sumbagut. This type of research is explanatory research that aims to examine the relationship or influence between the study variables and simultaneously test the hypothesized variables. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents were selected as a sample of each unit of work, do a simple observation in the field, and obtain the documents or records relating to this study. Further processed by using Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, this way is done to determine whether there is any relationship between the two variables. Then proceed with determination test to determine how much (percentage) the effect caused by the independent variable on the dependent variable. Based on the research that has been conducted so obtained results that the organization culture and employee performance in PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU Distribution Region III Sumbagut are at very high category, it is based on respondents answer. The influence of organization culture on employee performance in PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU Distribution Region III Sumbagut based on the calculation of Product Moment Correlation is equal to 0,68. Thus it can be said that there is a significant influence between the organization culture on employee performance in PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk SBU Distribution Region III Sumbagut. Then from the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained that the influence of organization culture on employee performance is equal to 46.24 %, while the remaining 53.76 % is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
