dc.description.abstractThe business world is constantly transformed by IT. Characterized by the use of information technology is the use of e-business networks and the internet and information technology. E-business also supports communication and collaboration companies and the processes that run through the web, both in the corporate network and the customer network and business partners. In connection with this, the architecture has a reliable e-business will largely determine the performance of the company in providing products and services to satisfy customers. This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of application of ebusiness to corporate performance (case study on PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Persero Medan). The hypothesis of this research is the application of e-business significant positive influence to corporate performance (case study on PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Persero Medan). Primary data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to to employees in the Directors Office of PTPN III preset as many as 90 respondents. Sampling using proportional random sampling. Data analysis method used is the method of associative analysis with a quantitative approach which consists of classical assumption test, simple linear regression, t test, and test hypotheses. Results of this study showed that of the linear regression coefficient is positive is equal to 0.246. Thus, if enhanced e-business variable (X) of one unit then corporate performance (Y) will increase by 0.246 units. Based on results obtained the test t 0.00 <0.05, which means that Ha is accepted. Thus e-business has significant positive influence corporate performance. Test results of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.167, which means 16.7% of the corporate’s performance can be explained by the variable e-business while the remaining 83.3% of the company's performance is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.en_US
