dc.description.abstract | DARMA Sinambela: Profile Analysis of Livestock Sheep Breeders In Business in District
Perbaungan Bedagai Serdang. The research was led by Iskandar Sembiring and Tri Hesti
Wahyuni.
The research was conducted in the District Perbaungan Serdang Bedagai North Sumatra,
which began on July 15 until August 30, 2011. The purpose of this study was to analyze the
incomes of sheep farmers in the Sub-District Perbaungan serdang Bedagai.
The research method used is survey method with a unit that maintains a family analais
sheep. The sampling method used is Proportional Stratified Random Sampling is a way to
choose 3 pieces of rural villages Markets Workshop (low population), Jasmine village
(population average) and the village of Sei Sijenggi (High population). Samples from this study
of 20 families graziers obtained from 30% of farmers in each village, the village of Market
Workshop (4 breeders), Village Melati (6 breeders) and Sei Sijenggi villages (10 farmers).
Characteristics of farmers who observed include: the number of livestock, education,
farming experience, number of workers, large cages, the purpose of maintenance, system
maintenance and age that affect the income of sheep farmers in the district Perbaungan Bedagai
Serdang.
Based on research results obtained that penalamn dangat influential in raising sheep
farmer incomes while increasing educational level, age and maintenance of the system does not
affect the income of sheep farmers.
Concluded that the experience of raising a very influential factor in increasing the income
of sheep farmers in the district Perbaungan Serdang Bedagai. | en_US |
