Abstract

The behavior of postpartum mothers in increasing breast milk production can be done with good knowledge, armades, and actions then applying social culture in accordance with health principles but there are some mothers experiencing problems in increasing milk production. This study aims to determine the behavior of postpartum mothers in increasing breast milk production in Kuala Aceh District based on a cultural perspective. This andy uses a quantitative method with a descriptive design to determine the frequency and percentage. The population and sample in this study were all postpartum women in the sub-district of Kuala Aceh with a total of 100 people, the sampling was carried out using a total sampling technique. The rendts showed that the behavior of postpartum mothers in increasing milk production, knowledge was good 57.09% 41.0% enough and 2.0 lesa Positive Attitude 98.0%, Negative 2.0% Good action 68.0% enough 32.0%) and 0.0% less It can be concluded that the behavior of postpartum mothers in increasing breast milk production in the sub-district of Kuala Aceh based on a cultural perspective, the majority of postpartum mothers have good knowledge, positive attitudes and good actions. It is hoped that good knowledge can be maintained and improved, positive attitudes can be continuously applied and then good actions can be continuously carried out.
