EVA KURNIAWATI, The experiment of feed bases point of a sugar-reed, point of a
corn stick and point of a cassava stick on carcass Sei Putih Shep. Under advices of
HASNUDI and USMAN BUDI.
This research conducted in Biological Veterinary Laboratory of Animal Husbandry
Departement, Faculty of Agriculture North Sumatera University, at jl. Prof A. Sofyan no.3
Medan. The aim of this research would be to know eficiensy and efecktivites level the
experiment of feed bases point of a sugar-reed, point of a corn stick and point of a cassava
stick on carcass.
The result showed the highest average carcass weight at P1 (7,26 kg) and the lowest
average at P3 (6,78 kg). The highest average carcass percentage at P1 (48,15 %) and the
lowest average at P3 (47,06 %). The highest average subcutan fat percentage at P3 (10,89 %)
and the lowest average at P1 (10,84 %). The highest average chanel + pelvic fat weight at P2
(1,88 %) and the lowest average at P1 (1,86 %).
The statistic analysis of the research resultindicated that P1, P2 and P3 showed non signitifacans effect (P<0.05) to the carcass weight, carcass percentage, subcutan fat weight
and the chanel + pelvis fat weight.
