dc.description.abstractWeaving is a business venture undertaken by people in the city Tarutung . Where business is local wisdom that has been passed by the Batak ancestors since time immemorial. The presence looms today is a threat to the scarcity of traditional weaving . Therefore Manalu Pearls should have a strategy in order to survive. The purpose of this study was to determine how the strategy performed by Pearl Manalu to maintain it’s business . The benefit of this research is to broaden the horizon for researchers and provide input to business owners as well as being refernsi material for further research. The method used in this research is descriptive method is a problem - solving procedures are investigated , by describing/depicting the state of the object of study is based on the facts that appear or as they are. To analyze the data the researchers used analytical techniques Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat ( SWOT) . Data was collected through interviews, direct observation , and literature. The results of this study indicate that the strategy needs to be applied to the business development strategy of weaving Ulos Pearl Manalu address at JL . Farel Rura Market No. 16 Tarutung is an aggressive strategy of creating a strategy that uses force to take advantage of opportunities.en_US
