Analisis Peluang Bisnis pada Obyek Wisata Tangkahan

Abstract

Tourism being the fourth priority for the government to get the source of foreign exchange. The development of tourism sector can encourage and accelerate the economic growth in the region. It is because the tourism activity can create a demand for consumption and investment that will lead to goods and services production activities. Tourism activity on tourist attractions will provide business opportunities for the community to open a business and increase their income. Business opportunities that can be utilized on tourism attractions is restaurant, accommodation, services, and others. Business opportunity comes from an inspiration, ideas, or opportunities that appear to be utilized for the interests of a person either in daily life or in business. This research aimed to identify business opportunities in tourism tangkahan. The methodology used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach .Data collection techniques conducted in this research is with interview techniques . The results of research shows that there are some business who was in a tangkahan tourism as a restaurant, coffee shop, lodging, cafe, a souvenir shop , the toilet, tire pool rental, and others. In addition there are also services as guide, raft crossing services which was a fixed business on tangkahan tourism. Besides lodging business, businesses that are growing in tangkahan tourism namely seasonal business owned by the people around Tangkahan tourism showed up on the weekend and the days of holiday. Business with services sector and lodging is a dominant sector in utilized the business in tangkahan tourism. The new business opportunities that can be developed on tourism tangkahan as the camping tools rent, using an india-rubber shoe for down a river,rent gazebos to shelter people and rent the tools for trekking.
