Fungsi Lembaga Legislatif Indonesia dalam Amandemen Undang-undang Dasar 1945

Abstract

This study tried to describe the influence of Indonesia’s legislative institution in 1945 constitutional amendments (UUD 1945). Legislative institution as a part from Indonesia’s government shows Indonesia’s civil supremacy to decide and to legislate common publicy become constitution. Legislative institution have many change if we see from the history of Indonesia’s government. After 1945 Constitutional Amendments has made, the representation of legislative have more impact to excecutive and judicial institution. The other change of it institution is the expunged of people’s consultative assembly as the highest constitutional position and gave more duties to people’s representative council to contrive some publicies. Another change is establishing regional representative council. Altough this three legislative institution have role to watch each other they have dominant function in Indonesia’s government, especially for people’s representative council. This study used qualitative descriptive method to describe legislative institution’s progress in Indonesia before amendment and after amendment. The result of this study is there are adjusments of legislative institution that regulated in UUD 1945. The change can we see from the performance of legislative institution at a period whether in making common publicy, using their rights, and the connection with other institution.
