Providing incentives is one of the tools to improve job performance
because of incentives can motivate a person to act and behave that can control
and maintain activities and establishes the general direction to be taken. If the
incentives provided to employees the company will lead to high morale.
Taking into account the above factors to the increased performance, the
company has the discretion to decide on the basis of the terms of employment for
the betterment of the company. Providing incentives to the employees of PT.
Asuransi Astra Buana Medan pointed out as one of the influential factors to
motivate and mobilize employees' performance. It is expected to provide a definite
incentive for employees to improve the company morale and employee morale
This study aims to determine how much influence the incentives on
employee performance in PT. Asuransi Astra Buana field. The population of this
study are employees of Marketing, a total of 12 respondents. Statistical analysis of
the data using a simple linear regression with SPSS 18.0. The results of the
analysis states that incentives have a close relationship with job performance, so
if the role of incentives offered up one-time or 100% it will be followed
miningkatnya performance of 0.35 (35%) and 65% longer influenced by factors or
other variables not examined in this study.
I recommend that PT. Asuransi Astra Buana Medan should has more
attention to give programs providing incentives to its employees so that each
employee has a sense of passion in working to achieve maximum productivity of
the company, and pay attention to the employees by assessing the company's
performance on a regular basis in order to have a benchmark to determine the
extent to which a given level of performance employees of the company in order to
perform the calculation of fair incentives and appropriate to its employees.
