In marketing it's products PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya Medan require particular
marketing strategy marketing mix strategy that Product strategy, price, promotion, place,
people, processes, physical evidence. problems faced is the income PT. Asuransi
Jiwasraya Medan has increased every year PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya Medan field should
maximize it's strategy of increasing the number of sales in order to compete with other
insurance companies therefore need a good marketing strategy to increase sales in order
to obtain optimal results.
This study aims to determine how the application of marketing mix strategy that
has been implemented by PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya Medan in marketing their products.
marketing strategy that is focused on strategy product, price, promotion, place, people,
processes, physical evidence.
This form of research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach with the
intent described the events or facts contained in an object of research by conducting
interviews and observations and then analyze the data obtained from the test site and
then compare with theories.
From this study it can be concluded that the overall implementation of the
marketing mix strategy adopted by PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya Medan has implemented a
strategy product, price, promotion, place, people, processes, physical evidence. good
enough and an increase in sales from 2011 to 2014, but it is still there are some things
that need to be addressed in order to increase sales more optimally such as the
installation of banners and billboards in places of strategic, more often hold marketing directly in the shopping mall and the center and also the process of claiming insurance
are to be faster so that customers do not wait too long.
